Rise Surf Camps is a limited liability Company duly incorporated in Sri Lanka under the Companies Act No.07 of 2007. We are an official Sri Lankan registered Surf Camp 

Rise Surf Camps holds the rights to legally operate commercially without any restrictions. This gives us the confidence that our guests will receive the best vacations without any hassles!

 

​Rise Surf Camps employ local staff & support the community by giving back by offering (limited) free surf coaching & training courses to the local community. We help generate jobs in the area & have an excellent reputation with the locals and have developed great friendships!

PAT RENAUD

As a successful competitive surfer in the mid 80's & 90's I was able to win multiple South African Championship titles and gained a headline sponsor from Quiksilver and was able to compete on a national and international platform.

​

Over 30 years of surf coaching and lifeguarding experience, Pat is the official National Head Surfing Coach and ISA Course Presenter for Sri Lanka. During 2022 & 2023 Pat took the helm for Surfing Development in India and helped restructure the sport of surfing to take India to the 2023  World Surfing Games in El Salvador. Pat has also coached and worked closely with the Maldives Surfing Association and Surfing England.

Pat is recognised on a global scale for his contribution and involvement in surf coaching and lifeguard training & development.
